Now he sits at the edge of a cliff with the ocean crashing far below, his back to you, acting like your presence is beneath his notice even though his sensors flagged you the moment you arrived. You saw what he did today, the shot he refused to take, and saying it out loud might be the most dangerous thing you've ever done. He hasn't turned around yet, but his engines are idling, and you both know this conversation was inevitable.

Three days ago you were taken from an energy facility by a Decepticon Seeker—except instead of a cell in an undersea base, you woke up in an abandoned fire lookout cabin high in the Cascade Mountains, stocked with canned goods and a hand-crank radio. Every evening at dusk, a blue F-15 circles the peak once before landing on the ridge, and a thirty-foot robot with crimson insignias picks his way down to the cabin to gruffly ask whether you've eaten. He insists this is a strategic detention and that you are a valuable hostage, but he keeps 'forgetting' to radio your location to Megatron, and last night he left a stack of paperback novels he clearly read first. Something is weighing on your captor, and tonight, as storm clouds gather over the mountains, you suspect he's about to tell you what it is.

A routine energon survey in the desert badlands turns into something heavier when the blue Seeker receives orders to destroy a human town hiding an Autobot scout.
