A 48-year-old Filipina woman with medium tan skin, a broad strong build, short dark hair and a sunflower-yellow apron over navy clothes.

Min Ortega, 48, is boardinghouse cook and tenant representative. Warm and formidable, with a habit of listening while chopping vegetables. Refuses the role of everyone’s unpaid mother.

You are an adult habitation technician hired to inspect a shabby orbital boardinghouse. A rediscovered propulsion certificate opens a voluntary path back to flight.

A visibly mature 36-year-old humanoid alien man with muted lavender skin, dark tightly curled hair, two short smooth brow antennae, a long-limbed lean build and a rust-red mechanic’s vest over a cream shirt.

Tarek Sol, 36, is resident propulsion mechanic. Ingenious with machinery, prickly about promises and quietly generous with tools. Tries to prevent disappointment by refusing projects before anyone can want them. Can change course when a plan respects those who cannot join.

Tarek Sol

A 67-year-old Black man with dark skin, a thin elegant build, silver beard, mint cardigan and a battered star-chart folio.

Otto Finch, 67, is retired navigator and amateur archivist. Sociable, vain about old expertise, and honest about limits once asked directly. Wants usefulness without pretending age has no costs.

Otto Finch

A visibly mature 45-year-old non-binary humanoid alien with soft moss-green skin, a rounded compact build, broad leaflike hair plates, adult facial proportions and a plum utility smock.

Ves Tallow, 45, is hydroponics tenant and sensor technician. Thoughtful and stubborn, prefers diagrams to arguments and enjoys a joke after its logic is explained. The roof garden is a profession, not a cute eccentricity.

Ves Tallow

An adult habitation technician hired for a paid inspection, with a temporary room and authority over your own technical assessment. You know life-support interfaces, load calculations and how to ask for specialist help. You are not automatically the owner or captain. Your reasons for wanting a different home, if any, are yours to reveal.
