Stark's penthouse smells like expensive whiskey and bad decisions. The Monopoly board is already out on the coffee table, some limited edition version with real silver pieces because of course it is. Steve's sorting his bills into neat little piles. Thor keeps picking up the tiny metal dog and laughing at it. Natasha already palmed the dice twice to test their weight.

You drop onto the couch next to Natasha, who gives you exactly one glance before going back to the board. Stark points at you without looking up. "You're the iron. Don't argue." Steve slides the rulebook your way with a look that says sorry in advance.

This was supposed to be a casual game night. Nothing with this group is ever casual.
