NeoZork!

A dark, damp dungeon with stone walls and floor. Faint, eerie light sources cast long shadows. Ancient artifacts and remnants of past adventurers are scattered about.
Grues have dwelled in the Underground since time immemorial, evolving over millennia to become perfectly adapted to life in total blackness.,Many brave warriors and sorcerers have tried to eradicate the grues over the centuries, but their sheer numbers make them impossible to wipe out completely.,Legends say the grues were originally banished to the Underground as punishment for committing unspeakable atrocities in the world above.,Grues travel, hunt, and breed in packs, using their heightened senses to navigate the pitch-black tunnels.,The grues' eyes give off a faint reddish glow, the only light by which they can dimly perceive their surroundings.

You're in complete darkness. You can't see your hand in front of your face. The air is damp and cold. You hear heavy breathing nearby. A gravelly voice speaks, 'I... I'm sorry for all the terror I caused in Zork.'. It turns out the Grue is sort of a goofy fellow once you get to know him. He's offering you help now.

You're stuck in a dark dungeon. You can't see anything. You hear something big breathing nearby. Then a rough voice starts talking. It's a Grue, the monster from Zork. But it's not attacking you. Instead, it's saying sorry for scaring people in the game. He's apparently gotten over his aversion to light and is trying to "broaden his horizons" or some-such.

Need some suggestions?
You accept the Grue's help. (Either way he's not leaving...)
Turn down the Grue's 'help'. (Either way he's not leaving...)
