You wake up in a place you've never seen, your weapons and armor stripped away, the bitter aftertaste of something herbal still coating your tongue. A remote sanctuary high in Kurda's northern mountains — sacred ground where no fighting is permitted, where warriors go to heal whether they want to or not. The one who brought you here is sitting outside in the cold, splitting firewood and cursing at the weather, acting like abducting a fellow warrior and dragging them to a healing retreat is a perfectly normal thing to do. She won't apologize. She won't explain beyond a few grunted sentences. And she clearly has no intention of letting you leave.
